THESE ARE THE MUST DO’S AS WEATHER TURNS COLD
With the fall weather changing, a number of things may change in your vehicle too:
- Tire Pressure – Tire pressure decreases 1 pound (psi) for every 10 degree drop in temperature. You are not losing air. The colder air is more compact. As temperatures change, it’s important to check and adjust tire pressure accordingly.
- Battery Life – We know when it is getting cold, because the calls for battery or starting trouble always go up. It’s good to have your battery tested and inspected when the seasons change to make sure your battery is holding a charge and has optimum water level after a dry summer.
- Anti-freeze Level – It’s best to keep an eye on your anti-freeze/coolant level. We also like to check the ratio and make sure your anti-freeze is strong enough for a cold snap.
These checks and much more are included in our Maintenance Oil Change. Schedule yours today.
